Water attractions
The undoubted attraction of the area is the Masuria region itself (especially the West part) and the fact that the Stary Tartak Hotel is located directly on the shore of the lake. The proximity of Jeziorak Lake - the longest lake in Poland attracts experienced sailors, canoeists and other water sports enthusiasts. Swimming, kayak and regatta competition are organized every year.
An interesting information is that the Jeziorak Lake and Elbląski Canal enable you to get to the Vistula Lagoon and the Bay of Gdańsk. Hidden in the forests Jasne Lake is a phenomenon in the country, not only because of the purity and the species it contains but mostly because of the water depth of almost 20 m.
Other attractions
We offer many unique bike trails for those who do not necessarily enjoy the charms of water .The wealth of forests and nature, the proximity of the Landscape Park of Iława Lake Disrict – all that makes one want to stay here and do not go back to urban reality.
For those who are interested in history and art - we offer beautiful pictures hanging in the restaurant Stary Tartak representing the history of Iława and surrounding areas. But for those who will have the time for sightseeing, we recommend visiting the XIVcentury Gothic church, town hall, the neo-baroque Town Hall, neoclassic Kinoteatr, urban amphitheater, numerous cafes and restaurants – altogether, they create a unique blend of styles.
