Stary Tartak**** Hotel in Iława
History and architecture
The hotel and the restaurant were built in stages. The restaurant was built in 2006. The cornerstone for the building of the hotel was masoned in 2008. The architecture of the building is similar to the style that was present in Warmia and Mazury in the period from the 16th to the 19th century. The mentioned style mainly appeared in urban and castle architecture. The post-bar system, willingly used at the time, was commonly called the ''half-timbered wall''. Old carpenter’s techniques were used while creating both buildings. All wooden elements were hand-made.
Children in STARY TARTAK HOTEL
The hotel is very friendly towards children. There is a modern playground next to the building. Guests with little children can ask for a safe extra bed to be put in their rooms. On the request of our guests we can provide additional heaters, bottle sterilizers and toys. The hotel has also special family rooms, which are joined together to ensure the comfort for parents and safety for their children. We offer special dishes for kids, such as ''Little Angler's Kit', that you can get in our restaurant.
